We are Ken & Cheryl Treffinger. In 2022, we became snow birds between our summer home in the Finger Lakes area of NY and our wintering grounds in Florida. We purchased our first RV (a Forest River Alpha Wolf) several years ago, and have since moved up to our 5th Wheel – a Keystone Cougar 316RLS. Since starting our RV journey, we have learned a lot about the RV industry and have experienced firsthand how frustrating it can be to have an RV fixed or serviced by a dealer or repair shop. Having to cancel a well planned trip because the air conditioner in the rig has stopped working, or the water heater isn’t heating, or your slide out won’t come in is enough to take all the enjoyment out of camping. Owning an RV should be fun and allow you to make family memories, not be something that causes you anxiety and grief. After several years of diagnosing and fixing our own RV issues, we knew starting a mobile RV tech business and helping others get back on the road is what we wanted to do.

Meet Ken, your dedicated RV technician whose journey began at the RV Technical Institute where he obtained his RV Service Technician certifications. After almost 25 years of working for the Sarasota County Fire Department, Ken retired from the Fire Service in 2021. Looking to start a new chapter and armed with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for innovation, Ken decided to become an RV technician. His thirst for knowledge drives him to continually expand his skills, ensuring he stays ahead in an ever-evolving industry. With each new challenge, Ken not only fixes RVs but makes sure they are safer, more efficient, and ready for any adventure.
